Voice of Haiti was
originally established in 2005 by documentary filmmakers James M.
Felter and Luke Lindhjem. Following a year of producing
television and promotional films in Haiti, both James and Luke became
deeply connected to Haiti’s culture and her people. Their experiences
provided a unique understanding and view of Haitian life that continues
to shape the organization to this day. After a year of listening to and
documenting the struggles of Haitian people, Voice of Haiti was founded
to help amplify those voices, help raise awareness, and to motivate
others to become agents of change for Haiti.
