Water Treatment Program
Over 70% of Haitians have no access to clean water. Waterborne illness is a leading cause of death for Haiti’s children, and the cholera outbreak has made matters worse. It is Voice of Haiti’s mission to find long-term water treatment solutions that are operated, maintained and sustained by each community served. In remote rural areas, we upgrade existing water systems by installing chlorinators. In urban areas, Voice of Haiti provides clean water for children by distributing water bucket filters to schools & orphanages.
